Workshops & Classes
Sam spent 6 years in professional workforce development for statewide and national training institutes, including dedicated time as part of a university training and evaluation team. She's spent a decade in volunteer education with passionate learners and teachers. Game Design
Games are a fantastic medium for play, curiosity, connection, and learning. Sam designs analog/tabletop games that provide thinking frameworks to address creativity, embodiment, and the ways people and systems engage.
Aerially:Â Somatics in Flight
In bridging aerial arts, play, and somatic training techniques, Sam has created a unique approach to somatic bodywork where touch is optional, massage tables are not necessary, and the guided engagement with the tools, fabric, and gravity itself become our teachers.
Somatic Experiencing
Ease, connection, joy...these are our human inheritance, but oppression, illness, and the sorrows inherent in navigating life can disrupt this. Sam offers strengths-based sessions that blend a variety of tools, rooted in evidence-informed approaches to integrating disruptive life experiences into wholeness. Sam works gently and playfully to increase your capacity for positive experiences while also teaching functional, practical self-management tools.
Partnered and Group Somatic Education
In addition to one-to-one services, Sam offers all her skills and support services in partnered or small group process. Bring your team, family, partner, or housemates together to learn and grow. Partnered and group sessions encourage practice with each other outside of sessions, and are more cost-effective per-person than individual sessions.
Collaborations & Research
Sam has over 20 years of technical experience in cross-systems collaborations, policy design, grants, and large scale research, blending clinical and scientific expertise. Technical assistance or contract work is by direct negotiation and based on current interests and availability.
